Match.not.

Dating is such a weird thing. I've been trying the whole match.com thing. I thought that it would be a good way to meet guys and have some fun dates. "Hey! All the cool kids are doing it,"I thought. All these dates do are make me realize that: 1. Just because I think they can write a good e-mail and hold a conversation on the phone does not mean I want to date them. 2. I'm picky.

I judged so many of my friends after they said that they went on many first dates and no real second dates. I thought that they weren't giving these guys a real chance. They were judging these guys too quickly. Here's the thing, if you meet someone and you feel nothing, absolutely nothing for a guy-- why keep up a charade?

I've learned a lot about myself in the process. I know that I need someone who can keep up with me, someone who feeds off the energy of other people, someone who is silly and someone who can make me laugh and not in the uncomfortable "har-de-har-har" way.
